Thutmose IV: The Prince and the Sphinx
These illustrations tell the story of Pharaoh Thutmose IV's discovery of the Great Sphinx buried in the desert. Thutmose uncovered the Sphinx and raised a monument recording the vision that came to him, in which he conversed with the giant stone cat. The illustrations are created by collaging painted tissue paper and adding final details with acrylic paint.
