The Wolf's Crops: An Egyptian Folktale Retold
This retelling of an Egyptian folktale is part of my illustrated Arabic folktale series. It follows the story of a lazy wolf and hard working mouse, who is much more clever than the wolf counted on. The story has some elements of the Little Red Hen, mixed with the classic trickster story.
