Return Policy


My policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, I need to know that you are you, so please contact me from the email you used to order, or include the receipt from your purchase.

 

Handmade Books


If you ordered a handmade book and your book is damaged when you receive it you are eligible for a full refund or exchange at no cost to you. Please keep the damaged item and packaging while we sort things out!

If you are unhappy with your handmade book for any other reason, you can return it in it's original condition and packaging and the cost of the book will be refunded, minus the cost of shipping. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

 

Printed Products


All printed products may be returned or exchanged for a full refund if the object was damaged, has missing pieces or a printing error when you receive it. Because I use a third party to produce my printed products, please be aware that this may take a bit of time. I will do everything I can to make sure that you get your order quickly and are fully satisfied with it.

If you are unhappy with your printed products for another reason, you may return them for a partial refund. Please contact me to find out what refund you are eligible for. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me at ruth@ruthmeharg.com. We'll figure out what's going on and get your refund to you ASAP!

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I can’t guarantee that I will receive your returned item.

Please note, although I provide insurance on all of my shipments, once the post office delivers your package they are no longer responsible for it. If you have a problem with packages being stolen, please use another address when placing your order. Unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for stolen packages.

If you provide incorrect shipping information and your item is returned to sender, you will be responsible for paying the cost of reshipment. Please double check your shipping address so your order gets to you the first time!
