This illustration may seem like a bit of a stretch for "refresh," but this week has been rather long, and what I have found most refreshing is getting lost in a good book. I am almost finished with "My Name is Asher Lev" by Chaim Potok, a novel about a Jewish boy who becomes an artist. Perhaps one of Asher Lev's drawings of Reb Yudel Krinsky posing his store would have looked something like this. Perhaps not. But this is how my drawing might look if I were him. Besides, making lines is refreshing.
